Description
Katherine Bradford is known for her luminous paintings of figures and Super heros. This small painting is an iconic example of her ongoing series of swimmers in water. She prefers a dark palette to emphasize the primordial nature of swimming especially at night. She is represented by CANADA gallery in New York City and several galleries in Europe including Kaufman Repetto in Milan and Campoli Presti in Paris. Currently she is having a solo show titled Night Swimming at Tomio Koyama in Tokyo Japan.
